Obituary of Albert Leonard VanGoch

Suddenly, at home, on Saturday, January 10, 2015 with his devoted wife by his side. Taken too soon (in his 68th year).Beloved husband to Madeleine. Proud father to Loretta Anderson (Keenan) and Dan (Mandy). Loving grandfather to Michael, Neil and Kallie. Survived by siblings Adrian (Sharon), Marlene (Gary Holland), Pat (Mike Noonan), Joanne (Herman Plas) and Anna (Martin Brouwers). Brother-in-law to Louis and Jeannette Halper, Bob and Cindy Halper, Theresa and Steve Halper and Joey and Julie Halper. Missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Although retired from the HVAC industry, Al maintained many relationships with his former clients. Special thanks to the Hamilton Fire Department for their assistance, as well as the staff at West Lincoln Memorial. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8 p.m. Cremation to follow.
