Dear Chris: I have never met your or your beautiful wife Dawn, but I have heard so much about her from my sister Caroline, that I feel I know her. To Chris, the Kyles and VanBerkel families, my deepest sympathy at the loss of your wife, daughter, sister and my friend. What can I say about Dawn that has not already been said. Her smile and laugh, her positive and cheery attitude and her friendly manner will be remembered always. Personally I will remember most her bright eyes and her fluttering eyelashes. I used to call her Miss Maybelline. I remember when Dawn joined the medical transcription team, freshly graduated from Mohawk College, eager to learn everything and wanting to become the best transcriptionist she could be. She asked so many questions. She fit in perfectly from day one on the job and she soon became a most valuable asset to the department. I also remember the day her mom and dad walked her down the aisle on her wedding day. She was radiant and beautiful. But what we will remember most about Dawn is the friendships we made in our department over the years. What started out as the usual office annual Christmas dinner outings went on to become a circle of friends that gathered for dinners for any and every occasion enduring the years, through many good times and some bad times as well. There is no doubt many tears have been shed this week by this circle of friends, but we will always have a special place at our table for Dawn and she will never be forgotten by any of us. To Chris, Mr. and Mrs. Kyles and Mr. and Mrs. VanBerkel, my heart goes out to all of you at this very sad and difficult time.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of dear Dawn. Dawn was a good friend and client to our hair salon for years, located in Cayuga . My sister in law Julie Richardson was her hair stylist for years, and we both thoroughly enjoyed each and every visit with Dawn. Our deepest sympathy is extended to all of Dawn's family and friends. I was so shocked and saddened to read of Dawn's passing. I worked with Dawn at the Cancer Centre, and was so pleased to bump into her again at Chedoke a few months back. So very saddened by Dawn's passing. She was a very special friend and coworker, and I will remember her for the rest of my life for her warm smile, laugh, lively and fun personality, our conversations about our cats, and our dinners out together.
