Obituary of Marsha Walker

Passed away peacefully November 21, 2014, after a lengthy illness, with her loving husband Barry by her side. Marsha has gone to see her beloved grandmother Olive Beattie and her late parents Campbell and Ferne Henderson and older brother Bud. Sister of the late Bud Henderson (June) of Owen Sound and survived by brother Ian Henderson (Francoise) of Grimsby. Loved foster mother of Bob Steele (Melinda) and Ernie Steele. Grandmother of Mitchell Steele. Marsha and Barry were married for 43 years and spent many happy years travelling and at their cottage at Miller Lake. Marsha will be missed by her brothers-in-law Earl Walker (Sandra) and Grant Walker (Jan) who spent many May weekends around the campfire at Miller Lake together. Marsha’s extended family of nephews and nieces and their children will miss her especially at the Henderson Family Reunions. There will be an empty chair at family Christmas and around the campfire. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will also be on Thursday morning from 10-11 a.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow and a private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or the SPCA would be greatly appreciated.
