Obituary of Mary Sullivan

Passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford, Ontario on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in her 87th year. Mom was the most wonderful Mother to her eight children, Larry, Debbie (Dale Larlee), Danny (Monika), Gord (Joan), Cindy, Todd (Kim), Colleen (1980) and Kenny (Tracey). She was cherished by her grandchildren Jennifer, Jillian, Anna (Scott), Cameron (Suzie), Jordan, Justin, Kyle, Spencer, Bryce, Garrett, Mitchell and Kenny. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchild, Esme of 14 weeks who Mom had the pleasure of holding and loving before she passed away. Mom was a kind and caring sister to Rod (2005, Kay), Joe (1992, Anne), Pearl (Russ), Angus (2007, Muriel), Johnnie (Geraldine) and Thelma (Jacques). Mom was predeceased by her husband Earl (1989). Mom was an incredibly selfless individual who always made sure that others needs were met before hers. Everyone she came in contact with, ending up loving her, because of her positive outlook, cheery disposition and unconditional love. She lived her life to the fullest, even with having to fight with three bouts of cancer. She was a special gift for God and a wonderful role model to us all. Special thanks to all the personal care workers, nurses and doctors who provided outstanding care for our Mother in her final days. Mom will be resting at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Parish, 232 Queenston Road in Hamilton on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
