Obituary of Giuseppe Scibetta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Giuseppe at home on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in his 82nd year. Giuseppe will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Fina Scibetta. Cherished father to Charlie Scibetta, Joe (Josée) Scibetta, and Vince (Andrea) Scibetta. Loving Nonno to Olivia, Dominic, and Joey. Giuseppe is predeceased by his parents Calogero and Calogera Scibetta, and was also a loved son-in-law to the late Giuseppe and Nicoletta Sferrazza. Brother of the late Raffaela Scibetta, the late Giuseppina and Alfredo Paladino, the late Calogero (Maria) Scibetta, Vincenza and the late Salvatore Polizzi, Tony (Mary) Scibetta, the late Vincenzo and Rosa Scibetta, the late Lucia (Franco) DiGiambattista, Nick Scibetta, Carmelo and Laura Scibetta, and Maria and Elio Pietrantoni. Brother-in-law to Angelo Sferrazza (the late Maria), Vinzenzo Sferrazza (Ninetta), Lena Mamone (John) (the late Charles Curto), and Antonio Sferrazza. The family would like to thank Dr. Allega and Giuseppe’s home care nurses Toni and Ramone for the exceptional care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday from 3-5 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10 a.m. Entombment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
