DAVIS, William Elmer Peacefully went to be with the Lord, On September 22, 2010, in his 98th year, at the Heritage Green Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Helen Downes. Dear father of Murray (Anne), Elizabeth (Glenn) Taylor all of Stoney Creek, Harvey (Lindy) of Grimsby, Thelma (Bradley) Kyte of London, Brian (Beverley) of Grimsby, Patricia (Wayne) Sipos of Binbrook, Nora (Peter) Croft of Smithville, Marilyn (Al) Wheaton of Beamsville, Linda (Tony) Mous of Smithville, Mary (Mark) Wild of Australia and Wayne (Shelley) also of Smithville. Lovingly remembered by 28 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home,36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (due to road construction please take Second St. north from King St. and turn right at Charles St.). The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 25th at 11 a.m. Interment Union Cemetery, Smithville.
