Obituary of Karl Sziklai

After a long struggle, Karl peacefully passed away on November 17, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in his 89th year. Loving husband of the late Anna Marie. Cherished father of Hilde Martin and Anne March (Barclay). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Chris (Jen), Ryan (Jill), Kyle (Kristina), Valerie, Kevin (Rachelle) and great grandchildren Aidan, Heather, Kaitlyn and Alice. Karl is survived by his sisters and their families in Hungary. Special thanks to St. Joseph’s Nephrology Department for all their compassionate care. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
