Obituary of John Barnham

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John on Saturday, November 8, 2014 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Iris of 57 years. Loving father of Cindy and David (Carol). He will be deeply missed by his grandsons Jason and Trevor McKay and Bradley and Garrett Barnham. John was a retired engineer with Stelco after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed the years he sang with the Geritol Follies Choir. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington for their care and compassion shown to all of us at this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. A gathering will take place at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday, November 17, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. Tributes at 7 p.m., followed by a celebration of John’s life at The Powerhouse Restaurant, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Carpenter Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
