Obituary of Erich Schmuck

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the age of 78. Erich will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 43 years, Alice and his daughter Monika. Survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law Mildred and Bill Pridmore, Joan and Elgin Benson, his cousin Ellen Schober and his many friends in Canada and Germany. Born in Essen, Germany, Erich immigrated to Canada in 1965. He first worked in Winnipeg before moving to Hamilton. Erich was a long standing member of the Germania Club and a strong supporter of the German culture. Family will receive friends at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
