Obituary of Mary Josephine Davis

DAVIS, Mary Josephine (Stewart) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on Friday, May 29, 2009, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Roy Cecil for 62 years. Loved mother of Ted (Denise), Jamie (Laurie), Janice Tompkins (Tony), and Andrea Zdriluk (Glenn). Cherished Gramma to 9 Grandkids, Erika, Darrell, Brian, Kyle, Courtney, Mathew, Ben, Brittney, and Bradly. Great-Gramma to Ella, Taylor, and Hannah. Mary is survived by her brother Arthur (Joyce) and predeceased by her sister Jean. Mary was a longtime employee of the Region of Hamilton-Wentworth. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, June 3rd at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
