Obituary of John Paul Weiler

Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the age of 80. Cherished husband of June of 49 years. Devoted father of Douglas and his wife Kimberly, Glenn and his wife Julie. Will be greatly missed by his much loved grandchildren Stephanie (Justin), Kassandra (Nick), Courtney (Jordan), Jacob, Michelle and his special great-granddaughter Olivia. Dear brother of William (Bill), Dolores Smith, Sally Langlois and brother-in-law of James Barrie. Will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Paul thoroughly enjoyed over 30 years as Pigskin Pete for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish (Nash Rd. and Barton St.) on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 9 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Rest in Peace
