Obituary of Phyllis Eileen Marshall

Peacefully at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke, Phyllis passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in her 88th year. Predeceased by all her siblings, her husband Jim (1999), step-daughter Darlene Taylor (1994) and son-in-law Robert Baird (2009). She will be missed by her son Douglas Marshall (Doreen) and daughter Sandra Baird. Grandma/Nana to Colin, Brandon, Gary, Randy, Leighsa and to several great and great-great grandchildren. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was an energetic person and a hard worker, known especially for her superb sewing skills. Special thanks to all the staff at Lakeview Retirement Home and to all the caregivers at St. Peter’s residence at Chedoke. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 11-1 p.m. No Funeral Service will be held. A private family interment will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
