Obituary of Yvonne O'Halloran

How do you deal with the loss of your Mom? It helps to surround yourselves with people she knew, cared about and loved. With this thought, we sadly announce the passing of our Mom Yvonne O’Halloran. She fought so hard to beat cancer and unfortunately lost the battle. Mom was in her 75th year and is pre-deceased by her husband Elmer O’Halloran, granddaughter Meaghan O’Halloran Black, companion Joe Shalevello and others whom brought meaning into her life. Mom will always be loved and remembered by her children Stella (Gary), Diane (Andrew), Rainy, Nancy (Jimmy), Rick (Enza), her companion Yvon, sister Gloria (Allen), nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her best friends Carol and Catherine who helped make her life complete. We sincerely thank Becky and the Elgin County CCAC team and all her compassionate, kind and supportive physicians and staff at the St. Thomas, Tillsonburg and Simcoe Hospitals. A heartfelt thank you to Sarah for staying by mom’s side. Family and friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, Hwy #8 in Stoney Creek. www.donaldvbrown.ca
