To the Caspersen Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Michael was a great kid, knowing him growing up. I had often thought of him, through my lifetime, and how he was doing. He had to be a special person cause he left an imprint on my heart for me to think of him through my life. I am deeply saddened by this news and Michael will still, always, be in my thoughts. Linda Lapierre. Nee - Geroux.

Aunt Connie here. I remember Michael as a very gentle and respectful person. He loved his dogs and they loved him. I pray for God to wrap His arms around the family as they walk through this most difficult week.

Dear Michael, its hard to know how to express what we are feeling right now. I knew that when Peter and I married you were part of the package. Peter wasn't just your brother,he was your best friend, the relationship that you shared is and will be irreplaceable. I was blessed to come along for the ride. What a ride these last 22 years has been. Its been an honor and a privilege to be your Guardian, your friend and your "sister". We have shared so much over the years both happy and sad. Its the simple things I will remember, Boston Bruins, your goofy smile, the loyalty you showed your friends, fishing and golf ball hunting with Peter ,walks with the dogs and so much more. Julie and Trina are saddened that you are gone ,you were loved and will be missed. You lived your life simply and on your own terms and the only saving grace right now is you knew what was coming and you knew where to come,to a place that was peaceful and where you were loved! It feels like a ship without and anchor, our family incomplete. It is your turn to look out for Peter and I know he will see you when he sleeps! We are grateful that you are finally at peace. Know that the promises we made, we intent to keep. Love you?

Remembering my brother Michael Caspersen who passed away unexpectedly in his 53rd year this past Sunday, August 3rd. Very grateful that my sisters Betty Caspersen and Joanne Caspersen and I were able to be with him when he passed peacefully in the ICU. Michael had a special talent for art and for always remembering our birthdays. He loved his quiet walks in Kings Forest, his dog Fenster and his Boston Bruins. Special thank you to the healthcare team at the Hamilton General Hospital ER and ICU for their compassionate and exemplary care.
