Obituary of Rodell Burns

Peacefully with his sons by his side on Thursday, July 31, 2014, Dell in his 83rd year went home to be with the Lord. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Audrey of 59 years. Loving father of Rodell “Rod” and Kim (nee Lillycrop) Burns of Hamilton, Gregory and Gail (nee Chalmers) Burns of St. Catharines. Cherished grandfather of Isaac, Abigail and John-Morgan Burns. Dear brother of Gladys, David, Wilma, Everett, Ken and Don. Dell had worked at Ford of Oakville for 41 years, specializing in metal finishing. He spent his retirement pursuing his passion of woodworking. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton, on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 11 a.m.
