Obituary of Pearl Barnes

Passed away peacefully, at the Juravinski Hospital, on Monday, July 28, 2014. Dear mother of Carol Bradt (Mark) of Hamilton. Beloved grandmother to Earl and John Stone. Pearl is predeceased by siblings Jack Barnes of Brampton, Lillian Sloss of Manitoulin Island, Albert Barnes of Hamilton, and the late Alfred Barnes (Helen) of Stoney Creek. Pearl will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
