Deepest condolences to all of the Lyon family on the passing of John. Without John, and the many brave young men like him who served during the war, I might not be sitting here writing this, they fought for my freedom & for this I can never thank them enough. I'm glad he made it through the war, married & had a great family, I know you are all so proud of him. Next time I'm in the UK I will leave a small Canadian flag on the memorial at Tholthorpe & Goosepool for you, sleep well John, you'll never be forgotten. Jeff Taylor
