Obituary of Ralph Blackett Charlton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph on July 13, 2014, in his 74th year, surrounded by loved ones. Ralph is survived by his wife Bev Sicard, his best friend Spencer, son Michael, brother Ron Charlton and his wife Betty of Nova Scotia and Sheila Goodbrand (the late Gord Gee) of Hamilton. He is predeceased by his mother Selena, father John and brother Jack. He will be sadly missed by his stepchildren Roger Sicard and his wife Sandy, Kim Dyer and her husband Bill and Jeff Sicard and his wife Sarah. His grandchildren Cole, Jack, Paul, Brady, Reagan, Piper, Sidney and Josh will remember him with fondness. He will also be missed by extended family and friends throughout Canada. Ralph was a longtime employee with Stelco. Friends and family will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated.
