Obituary of Donna Dartnall-Columbro

DARTNALL-COLUMBRO, Donna Peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Antonio. Loving mother of Sheila and Tom Busch, Rob Crossman, Paul and Zora Crossman, Irma Columbro and Dennis Morosin, Fabio and Mira Columbro, Mike and Susan Columbro and Molly. Cherished Nanny of 16 grandchildren. Dear sister of Nancy Dartnall and Ed Czerkas and sister-in-law to Fabio and Linda Columbro. Loved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her father Bill Dartnall, her mother Helen Bridgewater, her brother Ted Dartnall and Alice, her sister Peggy Rawlins and her grandson Blake Crossman. Donna was a former Leader with Scouting Canada and Leader and Commissioner with Girl Guides Canada. Special thanks to Father Charlie and Biddy and all of the staff of I.C.U. South at Hamilton General Hospital for all of the compassion and care of Donna and her family. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayer Vigil at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 9 a.m. at Incarnation of our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, Barton and Nash Road, Hamilton with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
