Obituary of Jan Pona

Passed away, after a 2 year battle with cancer, at the Bob Kemp Hospice on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the age of 68. Beloved and devoted husband of Karolina. Cherished father of Ziggy and his wife Marta and Marian. Loved grandfather of Darius, Claudia, Sebastian and Kaya. Will be missed by his brothers and sisters in Canada and Poland. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory The Great Slovenian Church on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery.
