Obituary of Jacob Hoogerbrugge

Our dear father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on September 14th, 2015, at Shalom Manor in Grimsby, at the good age of 98 years. Jake was surrounded by his family as he left us and was welcomed by Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savour, into the presence of God. Jake is survived by his children, daughter Henny of Kingston, Ont., son Arie (Gerty) of Fortune Bridge, Prince Edward Island, and son John (Dawn) of Zelienople, Pennsylvania. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. We loved him dearly. Jake was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Wilhelmina (Willy), in 2001. We are forever grateful for the loving care our dad received from the staff at Mapleview floor at Shalom Manor. Private funeral service has taken place.
