Sincere sympathies to Lawrence`s parents and family. My Husband Gerry (The Bear) has known Lawrence for over 40 years and we were shocked to see the announcement in today`s newspaper. Far too young but may he rest in peace. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers - Although young - Lawrence enjoyed a lot out of life with all his sports interests. We remember most his love for his family. May this give you comfort at this sad time. Kathryn & Gerry (The Bear) Gallant

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Lawrence's passing. I first met Lawrence when he was visiting his Uncle Dino who was my next door neighbour; we were about 7 years oId. I too, like Wayne Sochasky, haven't seen Lawrence in years (since I moved to Dunnville in 1968) but we spent a lot of hours together playing street hockey, football and baseball along with Teddy Smith, Wayne, and little brother Peter. I also remember playing hockey on the ice rink that his dad made in his backyard. He was a great athlete. I remember that as a kid he was interviewed on CHML radio when he told them that his favourite baseball player was Yogi Berra because, "he is fat like my dad"! I have fond and fun memories of Lawrence and my sincere sympathy is with mom and dad, and with Tina and Peter.

I was shocked to here of Lawrence death. We have not seen each other for over 40 years but I certainly remember growing up in our neighborhood playing hockey, football and baseball on the streets. I remember Lawrence and I hopping on a bus to Chatham ON. and inviting ourselves to the JR.A camp. They welcomed us and provided us with hotel and meals for 5 days before we got the ax. We both played JR B hockey for the Mt. Hamilton Bee's and Mt. Hamilton Juveniles. It was fun times. I would like to send my condolences to the family of Lawrence, his Mom and Dad, Tina and Peter. You were far to young to leave this life but may you R.I.P. Respectfully Wayne
