Obituary of Mari Caroline McMicking

Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, August 15, 2015, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd (2000). Loved mother of Judi (Mark) of Surrey, B.C. and Darryl (Dorothy) of Victoria B.C. Loved Grandma of Brendan, Dylan, Sean, and 6 Great- Grandchildren. Dear sister of Brian Green (Sylvia). Dear aunt of Bradley, Janet and Geoffrey. Mari was a retired employee of WABCO with over 30 years of service, a volunteer with the Hamilton Police Service, a member of the Red Hat Society, a gifted doll maker, and an avid traveller with a gift for life. A special thank -you to the doctors and nurses in the I.C.U. at Hamilton General for their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In Mari’s memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Society or S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
