Obituary of Marilyn Vacheresse

Peacefully, after a long illness, on Monday, August 10, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Beloved wife and best friend of Art of 12 years. Predeceased by her husband Marne. Devoted mother of Deborah (Ron) Bowerman, Dana (Alice Ann) Wedlock. Cherished grandmother of Ron (Christine), Chris (Valerie), Shalon, Brooke (Ross), Gordon (Kerstin) and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Bonnie. Predeceased by her brothers Bill and George (Bev). Will be missed by Maurice Vacheresse, Paul Vacheresse and Monique Ellis. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of 4th Floor St. Joseph’s Hospital for all of their wonderful care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Caledonia Baptist Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
