Obituary of Judy Boyd
There is a new Spirit in the Sky. Our beloved Judy has left us unattended (according to her) on July 15, 2015,in her 59th year, just in time to make it for 4:20 with those that went before her. Reunited in Heaven with her parents Clifford and Eleanor and sister Nancy. Very Loving and Devoted Aunt to Kelsey and Mike Weaver, Michael and Caleb Boyd. Sister to Brian. Judy will be forever missed by her lifelong friend Sharon Love, and was an adored Aunty to Shanna, James and Brandon and their families. Judy was a BFF+ to Rose DeLottinville, a Sister in Christ to Karen Hill, and a dear and loving friend to John Scruton. A free spirit who worked for over 20 years on the Great Lakes freighters, in logging camps, aboard the MS Chi-Cheemaun and Pelee Island Ferry and as a driver with D.A.R.T.S. Judy was a volunteer for City Kidz and Operation Outreach, and travelled to Sri Lanka to volunteer after the 2004 tsunami. Her love of Christ made her able to reach out and love unconditionally earning her many wonderful friends in every walk of life. Her unique approach to life brought joy and humour to all who knew her. We would like to extend a special Thank you to Six Nations Palliative Outreach Team and Juddah’s Place, also to Hankinson House Hospice, Brantford for their wonderful care of Judy. Please join us for a Celebration of Judy’s life on July 26 at 3 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 622 12 King St, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, a donation box for charity will be available at the service. (Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 905-662-2948)
