Obituary of Verna Smith

In her 90th year. A devoted, loving, wife, mother and grandmother June entered Heaven’s Gate on July 12, 2015. Predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, William “Gordon”. Mother of Sue, Sharon (Mark) Cherished grandmother of Alanna, Caylyn, Ayslynn, Shanna and Alyssa. Predeceased by sisters Myrtle and Irene and survived by her sister Audrey. The Funeral Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, July 14 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. A reception will be held at the Stoney Creek Legion, followed by the interment at Woodland Cemetery. Donations in June’s honor can be made to Philpott Memorial Church or St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas .
