Obituary of Al Bailey

Peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on June 14, 2015 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Esme for 61 years. Loving father of Christine, Glenis (John), Dave (Cindy) and Mike (Kris). Cherished grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Nancy, Norman and brother-in-law of Joyce, Pauline (Dave). He will also be remembered by his best mate Merv. Ron served in the British Merchant Navy and was a longtime member and volunteer with Stoney Creek Legion Branch #662. At Al’s request cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
