Obituary of Georgina Barbara Houslander-Wazny
Born on November 22, 1919, and quickly taken from us in her sleep at Albright Manor in Beamsville, Ontario on May 15, 2015 at 12:05 a.m. Jean’s body could not keep up with her healthy mind. Over the past month, Jean dealt with small strokes and was determined to get back on her feet. Jean is predeceased by husband Benjamin George Houslander and also Michael Wazny. At the age of 95, she has left a legacy behind for her adored children Diane Carson, Raymond (Jackie) Houslander, and Gordon Houslander (Vicky). Jean will be missed by her beloved grandchildren Ecole, Jayson, Jeff, Cristan, Jennifer, Mark, Ryan, Josh, and Katrina. Predeceased by granddaughter Elaine Carson-Duncan. Proud great-grandmother to Stephanie, Teagan, Shaw, Olivia, Mathew, Marija, Finn, Donovan, Marissa, and Cody. Predeceased by sister Dorothy Patterson. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. We all love Jean as a mother, sister, best friend, Nana, and Aunt. We will always cherish her mind, body, and spirit and how it was shared with us. We were so blessed to have her in our lives. Georgina has had many accomplishments over her 95 years of living life to its fullest.
