Obituary of Hilda Evelyn Patterson UE

Passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Macassa Lodge Nursing Home in her 99th year. Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Patterson, her parents Dorland and Blanche Ross and her brother Willard. Hilda was raised in Corbyville, Ontario and was a long time resident of Binbrook, Ontario. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shirley Young of Hamilton and Eileen Daw (Lorne) of Hamilton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren Karen (Vince d-Eon) of Okotoks, Alberta, Marilyn (Michael Russell) of Caistor Centre, Allison (Harold Miller) of Brampton, Teresa (Herb Wiseman) of Peterborough, Linda (Peter McNeil) of Oshawa and Trevor Daw (Alyssa) of Vancouver, B.C. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Pam and her staff of care givers at Macassa Lodge, C2E. Their care and concern is deeply appreciated. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 1 p.m. until the time of service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Binbrook United Church Cemetery.
