HI Sheryl, Joanne and Clark. It is Sunday afternoon and I am sorry to tell you that I am unable to attend your mother's funeral tomorrow. To make a long story short, my partner, Paul, is going into Toronto on Tuesday for hip replacement surgery and that means both of us going to Toronto where I will spend the rest of the week. I need to be here tomorrow and thought I could swing it, but as you know, Joanne, I am not 21 anymore! I was looking forward to seeing you. I am very grateful I got to visit your mother a couple of years ago and had a great chat with lots of memories. She was a wonderful lady, and I kidded her by referring to her as "my revered Aunt"! I know it is a great loss for you all, but as you know a wonderful gain for her. My love and sympathies.... John Saynor

Hi Sheryl or as we fondly call you S.S. Although this is a time of sorrow, we are overjoyed that your dear mom is home with the Lord. When I visited Flo she would always cheer me up, image that! She told me should would pray that I would be able to handle my back pain. The way she moved with her walker down the corridor I felt she was in better shape than I was!! She was always positive, cheerful and a great encourager. I think that many will feel the absence of her many prayers on their behalf. Looking forward to seeing her again soon. Ken and Fran

I have been so blessed to have such a special Grandmother. I have so many memories that I will cherish always. She is one of the most Godly women I know. Whenever our family had a prayer request, we knew who to call & often saw instant answers to those prayers. I have never heard her complain or speak negatively, but always give thanks to the Lord for each new day & everything she had. She has left a tremendous legacy for us. I will miss her greatly, but my heart is so full of joy to know that she is now home with her Lord & Saviour & once again united with Grandpa Rud. I love you Grandma & can't wait to see you again one day soon!!!
