Obituary of Nelson Oliver Latimer

LATIMER, Nelson Oliver Peacefully at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on Friday, September 27, 2013, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Nellie (Ned) and his late daughter Betty–Jean. Predeceased by his sister Ruth. Will be missed by his #1 Son, Jim Mc Dermid and his wife Monica. Nelson was Past President of the Stoney Creek Optimist Club, and very involved in various youth and charity organizations in the community. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday, September 30th from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
