Obituary of Doreen Mary Crook

CROOK, Doreen Mary Doreen was born in Leicester, England on November 6, 1930 and passed away peacefully at Linhaven Nursing Home, St. Catharines, on November 29, 2011, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Colin. Lovingly remembered as “Nanny Doreen” by Richard and his wife Marla, Keith (Patti) and grandchildren Hannah and Myers. Dear sister of Alan (Pam), Ron (Vivian), Peter (Maureen) and sister-in-law Sandra. Predeceased by sisters Barbara, Mary, Ann and brother Brian. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
