Obituary of John Bartkiewicz

Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on May 6, 2014 in his 91st year. Loving husband of the late Helen. Cherished father of the late Ted, Peter (Lana) and the late William. Papa of Justin, Carly (Brian) and Kristi. John was proud to be raised in the Brightside neighbourhood with his two brothers Todd and Edward. He was a Tool & Die maker and became a foreman with American Can. He was also a passionate Ti-cat fan. Special thanks to Dr. Irene Cybulsky, the staff at Hamilton Health Sciences Hospitals and the Dan Wood family. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the time of service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
