CRAMP, Eleanor Florence "Queen"
Peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2008, at Macassa Lodge, Eleanor heard the call of her Saviour to come Home. Loving wife of the late Willard "Bill" (1990). Devoted and cherished mother of Louis (Gerrard) and her husband Ken Bell. A wonderful caring grandma to Garnet Bell and Elaine Winter and her husband Jon. "Old" Grandma's great-grandchildren Aaron, Jacob and Benjamin Winter, Laura and Christian Bell were the joy of her life. In her 93rd year, daughter of the late James and Marjorie Wintemute. She leaves behind her dear sister Marjorie (Reg) Joyce. Predeceased by her sister Hertha (Fred) Duval, brothers David (Muriel) and Arthur (Irene) and infant brothers Ralph and Nelson. Sister-in-law of the late Florence Price and Joe Cramp. Dear Aunt of Marlene, Ralph, Reg, Lynne and Jim, Gail, Carole, David, Marilyn and Wendy, Janet, Karen, Warren and Linda and their families. Blessed with many friends at her church, the Westinghouse on Greenwood St. and at Chesley Lake Camp and more recently Macassa Lodge. Heartfelt thanks to the dedicated nurses and staff of the D Wing at Macassa Lodge for the love and care given to my mom. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Eleanor was a long time member of Westside Baptist Church, 261 Whitney Avenue, Hamilton where a celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to S.E.N.D. International, 1-22423 Jefferies Road RR5, Komoka, ON N0L-1R0, War Amps (Champs) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
