Obituary of Donald Gunn

After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Gunn. He was surrounded by his family at St. Peter’s Hospital on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Loving husband of the late Barbara Gunn. Cherished father of Dianne and Doug Stephan, Donald Jr. and Debbie, Gary and Lora, Brian and Karen, Mike and Paula, Kimberly and Steve Farrell. Lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren David (Rebecca), Kathryn, Corey (Elyse), Heather, Alexandra, Emily, Sarah, Kailey, Mackenzie and great- grandson Cole. He will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Donald “Six Gunn” was a devoted and longtime employee of Earl Paddock Transportation. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
