On behalf of the Featherstone family, please accept our condolences on the passing of Owen. We all greatly admired, appreciated and respected Owen - and he was a great role model and mentor to all of us over his lifetime. He and Audrey and the rest of the Smiths have always felt like "family" to us. In more recent times, I enjoyed running into him and Doreen at various spots in Grimsby, and we seemed to always find time for an enjoyable chat. He will be greatly missed - and remembered always with great fondness...

Owen and I had two major interests in common; Love of flying and my Sister Doreen. (not necessarily in that order) It is with sadness I bid Owen farewell. Yet at the same time, he lived a full and rewarding life and I'm sure left without regrets. Condolences from the Myers Family of Peterborough and Oshawa. Eddy, Dave and Cindy, Chris And Lisa, Barry and Linda.

My sympathy and condolences to the entire family and especially to my long time friend, Bette Anne. Mr. Smith was an absolutely amazing man who won over my heart at an early age. Not only was he a tremendous influence on his family, so he was to a young girl and teenager. He and I had some very interesting chats on our way to and from his beloved Otter Lake on a wide ranging variety of topics. I am honoured to have known him and he will always be a big part of my many treasured memories of growing up.
