Obituary of Heinz Albrecht

ALBRECHT, Heinz 1930-2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Heinz Albrecht with family by his side on Saturday, April 6, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Joseph's hospital at the age of 82. Respected and skilled tool and die maker who immigrated from Austria and worked hard to build a life for his family. Dearly beloved husband of Hertha (nee Fruhbauer) for over 56 beautiful years. Loving father of Michael (predeceased), Sandra and Jeff. Cherished grandfather "Opa" of Zackery and Luke. Beloved by his brother-in-law Udo and sister- in-law Margit. Predeceased by his sisters Jettl, Minna, Anni, Fritzi, and Gusti. He will be sadly missed by all. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Juravinski, St. Joseph's Hospital and dialysis for their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, April 11th from 1-4 p.m. followed by Funeral Service at 4 p.m. Reception to follow.
