Obituary of Danica Ljubicic

Born on March 25, 1932 in Bovic, former Yugoslavia. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother on April 30, 2014, in her 83rd year, with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Ljuban (1998) and dear grandson Predrag (2002). Our loving mother will besadly missed by her daughters and their families Dancuo, Ajdinovic, Utjesinovic, Stankovic, Brkovic, Tomanovic, Ivosevic, Stanojcic, Zic. Her legacy will live through her 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Danica leaves behind her sister Ljubica and many relatives in the former Yugoslavia. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Timarac, Dr. Mazzodi and his team as well as the caring staff at CTU West at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating.
