Obituary of Gerald Young

Peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at St. Peter’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Tomlinson). Cherished father to Rodger and his wife Gerda, and Linda Shuker and her husband Glenn. Loving grandfather of Michael, Melissa, and Pamela. Great-Grandfather of Lily, Nolan, and Jaylynn. Loved brother of Ron (Lenora), Lorne (Nancy), Wayne (Dianne), and Marty (Chris). Special friend of Lola Timson. Special thank you to the doctors and staff at St. Peters Hospital for their wonderful care of Gerald during his stay. Gerald was a long time member of Lincoln Lodge No. 544 A.F. & A.M. Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, May 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, May 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Masonic service will take place on Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Fulton Stone United Church, 2906 South Grimsby Rd 20, Fulton, Ontario on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow
