Lionel Court

Obituary of Lionel Charles Court

Court, Lionel Charles (1921-2013) After months of setbacks and delays, Lionel with enough bait and lures has finally left for the fishing trip of a lifetime. Lionel will be met by his wife Jean (1998) and daughter-in-law Karen (2001). We are sure a welcome party has been planned by his many relatives and friends that have gone before him. Bidding a fond farewell to his dog Rusty, his eight children Judy (Russ), Rick (Anita), Ron, Pat (Tom), Lionel (Terry), Ed (Deb), Susie, Terrie and sons-in-law Peter, Greg and Ron, twenty-six grandchildren and 10 ½ great-grandchildren, many of whom will carry on his tradition of fishing, gardening, farming and euchre. He will also be missed by his special friend Sylvia. We would like to thank Judy and Russ for opening up their home, pool and garden to Dad and for their excellent care. Also, to Dr. D Jurainsz and staff over the past years, the DVA. and to the CCAC including Sandy, Laura and Lisa. If you have a memory that you wish to share please write it down and bring it to the visitation. Visitation will be held at the Binbrook Agricultural Hall (2600 Hwy 56) on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 1p.m. - 2:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life. Cremation has taken place. Family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity United or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
