Obituary of Emily Mary Cote

COTE, Emily Mary (nee Tokarchuk) Peacefully, at Extendicare Longterm Care Center on Saturday, July 23, 2011 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Lou Cote (1999). Dear sister of Ann Secondiak, Agnes Okrainetz, Adolph Tokarchuk, Genevieve Borys (Steve) and sister-in-law to Evelyn Tokarchuk. Emily will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Predeceased by siblings Frank (Mary), Helen Pikula (Bill), Mike, Genoefa, Carl, Henry and brothers-in-law Paul Secondiak and Steve Okrainetz. Emily enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and camping. One of her many joys was to donate her knitting to charities. Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare for their care and compassion. Friends are invited to Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 11am.
