Obituary of Vera Gowland

Peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2014 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Gowland. Dear aunt of Tom Ferguson and his wife Berit of Grimsby, and Rick Ferguson and his wife Peggy of Ancaster. Cousin of Pearl Lester and her family, the late Neil Quance and his family and the late Irene Lyons and her family. Vera was a member of the Stoney Creek Alliance Church, Binbrook Seniors, and life long resident of Binbrook. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Trinity United Church Cemetery.
