Obituary of Wesley Summers

On April 10, 2014, Roy, surrounded by loved ones, passed away at Ridgeview LTC, Stoney Creek, in his 94th year. He will be deeply missed by his children Larry Plumb (Susan), Judy Elliott (Dave) and Wendy Braun (Fred), all of Stoney Creek. Also missed by his sister Effie Taylor and nephew Dennis Taylor and niece Chris Taylor of Creemore, Ontario. Loved and remembered by his grandchildren Greg Plumb (Josie), John Plumb (Karen), Tyler Plumb (Cheryl), Glenda Tokarz (Rudy) and Matthew Wallace and nine great- grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife Louise (1974) and second wife Theresa (2001). Dad was a long-time employee of the former Co-op Dairy, Hamilton. He was an avid wood carver and antiques gun collector. Our family wishes to thank Dr. R. Profetto, Rev. Lola and all the staff of Ridgeview for their exceptional care, love and compassion, respect and humour with which you treated Dad in the nearly four years he called it home. Thanks for being our Dad and Grandpa and for all the great memories we have shared with you. We will remember you with Love and Laughter. Cremation has taken place.
