Obituary of Ron Irish

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Melvin Irish at the age of 79 after a 55 year battle with Syringomyelia. Ron was born in Niagara Falls and has resided in Stoney Creek, Ontario for the past 45 years. Much loved husband of Pat (nee Balcome) for 55 years. Loving father of Shelley and Ann Marie. Dearest Grampy of Rebecca (Sam), Steven (Sydney) and Jenna, all of whom he adored. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Helen (nee Nesbitt) Irish and twin brother Donald (Blondie) in 1971. Survived by his sister Donna Steele (Jack) of Niagara Falls. Brother-in-law of Donna Balcome, Jim Balcome (Gail) and Audrey Carr (Sam). Special thanks to his best friend Basil Bechard who visited Ron every Sunday and kept him up to date on their work buddies from Inglis and Duracoat. Ron also enjoyed the Social Club at the former Day-N-Nite. Thanks to Ed Miller (Edith) for your continued support for our family throughout the years. Our thanks to Dale, Mitch, Cathy, Mary, Sandu, Annice, Cinzia, Christian and Gina for their care and compassion. At Ron`s request cremation has taken place.
