COLLINS, Douglas After a long well lived life…from a fisherman in Newfoundland, a steelworker in Hamilton, to a long happy retirement in St. George and Sunny Hill, Doug peacefully passed away on November 29, 2012 in his 95th year. Loving husband for 67 years to Julia. Dear father of Blanche (John) Robertson, Doug (Sue) and Henry (Nina). Treasured poppie to Jennifer (Wade) Speck, Julie (Ken) Phillips, Laura (Andy) Brintnell, Scott, Eric (Megan), Kathleen and Krista. Great-grandpoppie to Sam, Abby, Levi and Lily. Predeceased by brothers Hadow and Eddie. Survived by his siblings, Clara, Velma and Marcus. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 2 Andrew St., St. George, from 10 to 11 a.m. Service to follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations gratefully accepted to The War Amps, Salvation Army or Holy Trinity Church, St. George.
