Obituary of Jewel Linke

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 8, 2014. Beloved wife for 57 years to Arthur George Linke, step-mother to Gayle Hilson (William) and Grandmother to William, Arthur and Leah. Born in Gary Indiana in 1918, Jewel dedicated 3 years of service as a Nurse in Guam during the Second World War. She moved to Grimsby in 1957 and continued her nursing career at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
