Obituary of Veronica Frances Putman-Rainville

Loving daughter of Doug and Kay Martin. She will always be in the heart of her soul mate Marcel Rainville. Proud sister to Diane, Charmaine, Ed, and Dean. Daughter-in-law of Edmond and Colette Rainville. Mother of Aaron, Amanda, Ashley and stepmother of Drake and Jesse. Also remembered by her grandson Wyatt. We have never seen anyone face cancer with such grace, when her kids were scared, she gave them strength. When her family didn’t know how they would get through it she gave them hope. When Marcel couldn’t comprehend living without her she loved him more. When she could have been crippled with fear she danced, laughed and sang. Veronica was more than a daughter, a mother, a partner and friend. She was a hero, an inspiration to all whose beautiful laughter and infectious smile will live on in our hearts forever. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, March 21 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Friday at 3:30 p.m. A service to celebrate Veronica’s life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
