Obituary of Maria Fortunata Cipriano

CIPRIANO, Maria Fortunata (nee Medeiros) Peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, May 24, 2012 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife to John for over 60 years. Devoted mother to Zelia McDonald, Teresa Dunham (Art) and John Cipriano (Alice). Cherished Vav´o to Terri Dagenais-McDonald (Trevor), Tim McDonald, Rene Cipriano and Avozinha to Maya and Alaina Dagenais. Survived by her sister Maria Da Conçeicão. Maria Fortunata will also be remembered by many friends. Special thanks to the ICU staff at the Hamilton General Hospital and the staff at St. Peter`s Rehabilitation Centre. Family and friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 2 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road, Hamilton, on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery Stoney Creek.
