Obituary of Myrtle Adie

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a very special mom, on Tuesday March 11, 2014 at the age of 92. Pre-deceased by our dad George. She is dearly loved by her children Robert (Deb), Norman (Nancy), Gordon (Janice), Donald (Bev), and Christine (Blair). She was very proud of her 11 grandchildren Kim, Kelly, Jodi, Jenny, Brooke, Jordan, Dan, Matt, Ashley, Johnathan and Nicholas. Adored great-gramma to Grace, Sam, Taylor, Haven, Kaylee, Addison, Ella and Jacob. Mom was a kind, generous woman who would do anything for anyone. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to Winnie at Heritage Green Nursing Home for her kindness over the years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, March 13 from 6-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Myrtle’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Cemetery.
