Obituary of Douglas Church

CHURCH, Douglas (Doug) Suddenly at his residence on Sunday, March 15, 2009, in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Georgina (Gina). Loved father of Timothy and his wife Erika, and Ruth. Loving Gramps to Madeleine and Lauchlan. Son of the late Reg and Dorothy Church. Dear brother of Sam (Louisa). Son-in-law of Betty Macaulay. Brother-in-law of Elizabeth Manto and dear uncle of Christopher, Jennifer, Tina and Paula. Doug was retired from the Hamilton Police Service with 31 years of service. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, March 20th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In Doug's memory donations to the Hamilton-Burlington S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by the family.
